    • Where can I register for career fairs?
Registration for all fairs occurs in the Handshake platform and is first PAID first served. If your organization has challenges remitting immediate payment but can provide proof of processing, you can reach out to the employer relations team to discuss getting approved before payment is received. More information on each fair is available at unl.edu/careerfairs
    • When does employer registration open?
Registration for employers opens on Thursday, July 15th.
    • How much does registration cost?
All registration costs are available within Handshake on the registration pages. Login and check out the fair registrations to learn about cost for Fall 2021!
    • What size booth can I have and how many reps am I allowed to bring?
We are offering single booths only this fall, which includes a six foot table and space for two representatives. One additional representative may be added for an additional fee, available as an option on the registration page.
    • How many days can I attend?
Employers may register for and attend TWO in-person days and unlimited virtual days. With the transition back to in-person events, physical space is our limitation on campus. We have a limited number of available booth spaces each day, so to provide engagement opportunities for all our employers equitably, we need to manage the number of days each employer may attend. As we get closer to the fairs, we will provide the option to register for additional in-person days if we have spaces remaining. Otherwise, you are welcome to register for one or both of our virtual fairs held on October 12th & October 13th to maximize your student engagement. All career pathways will be represented on both days of our virtual fairs.
    • Which day should I attend?
In-person career fairs are split across four days by career pathways. Information on which pathways are targeted for each day are available at go.unl.edu/careerfairs.

    Day-after Interviewing

Due to space limitations on campus, we are offering day-after on-campus interviews to Scarlet Husker Circle members only. Scarlet Husker Circle members may reach out to Chance Radtke to arrange interview accommodations. If you are interested in more information about joining Husker Circle for the next academic year, please reach out to Courtney Strayer.

Alternatively, consider these coworking facilities in the Downtown Lincoln area. Please reach out to these facilities directly to inquire about any fees associated with using their space.

    Fuse Coworking 151 N 8th St. (5th floor)

    The Foundry 211 N 14th St.

Also, consider doing day-after interviews virtually. We’ve received feedback from many students that they enjoyed and in some cases preferred this method of interviewing.

If you choose to offer day-after interviews, arrangements should be made prior to and we would recommend having a plan to let your students know before the career fair begins.

    Posting Open Positions

Students will begin researching employers and job/internship opportunities a couple weeks in advance of the career fairs. To help increase your organization’s visibility and catch the attention of students seeking opportunities, make sure you post your open positions on Handshake. Find more information here.
