The third annual Glow Big Red and its 24 Hours of Husker Giving will take place from noon to noon on Feb. 17 and 18. Glow Big Red is a 24-hour giving event to advance the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and we ask all Huskers, near and far, to support UNL with a gift to scholarships, colleges, programs, student organizations, inclusion, mental health and many other areas on campus.
We encourage you to help the First Generation Nebraska students and GLOW ALL IN. UNL’s First Generation Nebraska (FGN) provides first generation scholars the resources and opportunities they need to earn their degree, begin a successful career, and give back to their home communities. FGN provides first gen scholars structured mentoring and support through the First Husker program, networking through shared meals and social and cultural events, leadership and career development opportunities. Please support UNL’s first generation scholars with your gift during Glow Big Red. Any funds raised will continue to support First Gen scholars’ journeys, including dedicated funds for leadership and career development.
