First Gen Career Readiness Series: Job Search & Networking

Join us for the continuation of the First Gen Career Readiness series starting Wednesday, February 17th from 3pm-4pm.

In this session First Gen students will learn how to develop a targeted job search strategy, research jobs and industries, and connect with employers via Handshake and LinkedIn. Students will hear from recruiters Kelsey Mick and Dana Grape with Sandhills Global who will talk about networking strategies and building connections in a field of interest to help you land your first internship, part-time, or full-time job. Those students who attend one or more session of the First Gen Career Readiness Serries receive a First, But Not Alone First Gen T-shirt.

“I’m looking forward to connecting with you over Zoom on February 17th for the Job Search and Networking session. Our team will be talking about networking strategies and how to research the job you want. Bring any questions you have about researching jobs, building connections and more!”
